Aprons...to wear or not to wear?

As you can tell from my post,I love being home, doing the "nesting" thing as my Mom calls it.

   I have several aprons that I wear. This is something that is from back in the day for a lot of people. If you look for one in Wal-mart, they have some, but generally they are more so for the grilling out days. My sweet Mom in law has passed on some to me, and I occasionally can find them at Estate Sales. I do wear them often. I can go from one mood to another by changing them out. It puts me in that "place", if I have my school apron on, or my cooking one. I also have a cleaning apron. They are like my uniform.

  Susanah Wesley, mother of John Wesley,Father of the Methodist movement, had a total of 19 children. 10 of them never lived past 2 years of age{.You can read about her here.} She had another reason for her apron, when she needed a break, she would sit down and throw her apron up over her head! Then the children knew they'd better leave Mom alone! I haven't tried this yet...

   I have friends that ask, "Why do you wear that?" Well, if all others reasons fail, I can always use the "it saves my tops from stains and me having to scrub them"...they can relate to that!

Church

Getting ready to wind things down for the day and move on to tomorrow. Which means, getting ready for church. I love church. . The girls LOVE it. I am and always have been different. I like my panty hose for one. Who wants to go to church jiggling up the stairs? Why do woman let themselves be seen like that? Tummy supports were made for a reason, as were firming panty hose. Am I embarrassed of my figure? No. I just don't like everyone knowing every line under my dress. These short dresses with NO hose,tights or anything are not for me. I don't wear my tops down to my belly or my skirts cut to my waist. Out of respect for not only myself, but other women. I don't want some other woman putting her self in front of my husband with near to nothing on, and would not do that to someone else.

Ahh yet another thing that the world leads us to think is okay. I'm not falling for it....
